The following is something I wrote just over a year ago. I received some sort of healthcare thing in the mail, and I sent the following as a reply. All is good now with this person, but it is exactly why I will NEVER WILLINGLY SIGN UP FOR AN ILLEGALLY CONCEIVED CONCEPT, AS IT IS A VIOLATION OF THE 10TH AMENDMENT AND BASIC CONTRACT LAW:
Dear ********, 8/28/13
If what you have sent me in my mail has anything whatsoever to do with Obamacare, please continue reading this heart-felt reply. If it does not, please accept my most sincere apologies.
1) My religious perspective will not allow me in good conscience to sign up for Obamacare.
2) Obamacare by itself is illegal.
3) Obamacare was introduced and instituted by illegal means.
4) By forcing me to participate, you are hence forcing me to participate in something wholly illegal, hence you are forcing me to commit a crime.
5) The United States Government cannot force me to sign a contract. That is illegal.
6) The United States is a democracy, not a nation of fascism.
7) I already know my ailments, and know how to self medicate; some based in religion and some based in common sense application.
8) When I was born, doctors said I wouldn’t walk normally, let alone play sports. I was ranked 12th in Indiana State swimming my sophomore year, with numerous letters from division II universities to swim for them. Meh, doctors.
9) For reasons I will not discuss, doctors said I would likely not do well in school for these unmentioned reasons. I had a B+ average in the year I attended college. Meh, doctors.
10) At the age of 9, my hair began falling out in multiple places on my head. Doctors told me I would be completely bald for the rest of my life by the age of 13. The hair all grew back and to this day, I could grow an afro that would make afro enthusiasts applaud. Meh, doctors.
Please take these discount cards you have sent me and shred them and remove me from your database, as I will not sign up for something I don’t want, need and that is an insult to me thinking that I cannot do for myself, gleening that Obamacare and his doctors know anything about me. My body is my temple, it is not U.S. property. You are welcome to tell Obama to his face I said that.
Have a nice day!
