I have more research work to do, but I have been thinking about this for a while now. I could be wrong, but as stated, more work to do. The idea of a government shut-down. The article I posted talks about what happens during this time. If I am correct, it is against the law for congress to not pass a budget. Yet for some time now, we've been living off the idea of 'kick the can down the road'; hence the term you may have heard, C.R., or continuing resolution. It is my opinion at this time, with what I have been learning and know, the executive branch is the only branch of the three that has veto power. If the executive branch deploys a veto, and it causes a government shutdown: IT IS INCUMBENT UPON THE OTHER TWO BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT TO PERSONALLY FUND ALL ENTITIES THAT SUFFER UNDER A SHUT-DOWN. Yes, GARNISH THEIR WAGES. To ENSURE sufficient monies are provided, this includes federal AND state house and senate members until they act expeditiously in honor of our Constitution, and in respect for our rule of law and our nation's people. This, to continue until a President no longer vetoes all arguments that occur during a government shutdown. Marketwatch
