The continent of Africa is very old and very rich in cultural history. It is most diverse in many genres like religion:
“According to the World Book Encyclopedia, Islam is the largest religion in Africa, followed by Christianity. According to Encyclopedia Britannica, 45% of the population are Christians, 40% are Muslims, and 10% follow traditional religions. A small number of Africans are Hindu, Buddhist, Confucianist, Baha'i, or have beliefs from the Judaic tradition. There is also a minority of Africans who are irreligious.” Ref. Wikipedia.
Languages:
“Following the end of colonialism, nearly all African countries adopted official languages that originated outside the continent, although several countries also granted legal recognition to indigenous languages (such as Swahili, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa). In numerous countries, English and French (see African French) are used for communication in the public sphere such as government, commerce, education and the media. Arabic, Portuguese, Afrikaans and Spanish are examples of languages that trace their origin to outside of Africa, and that are used by millions of Africans today, both in the public and private spheres. Italian is spoken by some in former Italian colonies in Africa. German is spoken in Namibia, as it was a former German protectorate.” Ref. Wikipedia.
New and old customs, and new and old traditions still occur in Africa as well to this day.
Here we are in the year two-thousand and sixteen. We see mass genocide, mass rapes, mass famine, mass religious fanaticism (Boko Haram i.e.), mass political corruption in many African nations, as well as other untold horrors that remain unknown.
There is a map on this Wikipedia reference I read up on, it basically shows the northern half of Africa Islam influenced, while the southern half is Christianity influenced. In the eighth century, Islam, long before the United States or even prior to being the United States had taken many Africans for slavery in the name of their first caliphate.
My thoughts then go to the rest of our planet outside of Africa. Mass flooding of those of Islam introduced to, in my opinion, not just because of money but also for some for the sake of population decrease. Simply put, current generations are dying off faster than future generations are being created; hence the (naïve) genius idea of mass population influx to save their nation and culture. One side-effect that perhaps England, Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and others that have allowed this Islamic influx had this blow up in their face:
ISLAM WILL NEVER ASSIMILATE TO ANY NON-ISLAM NATION. EVER.
Current African political landscape:
“Political associations such as the African Union offer hope for greater co-operation and peace between the continent's many countries. Extensive human rights abuses still occur in several parts of Africa, often under the oversight of the state. Most of such violations occur for political reasons, often as a side effect of civil war. Countries where major human rights violations have been reported in recent times include the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sudan, Zimbabwe, and Côte d'Ivoire.” Ref. Wikipedia.
With all this said, here and now, I wish to THANK all of those who were slave owners whenever it was around the time you indirectly BROUGHT MY BLOODLINE on US soil. Over time, you have actually turned a negative into a positive.
Whomever is my bloodline’s first accepted American citizen allowed by the US government to be a citizen, is the first person to perpetuate and keep in earth’s best condition for survival called the United States of America and eventually in time, I am now here.
I love our nation, I love our Constitution and I love FREEDOM. Because you eventually, for whatever reason, brought my bloodline to your nation I simply sit back and reflect and am thankful for what I have, and how good I really have it here in the USA.
So despite Obama running to the U.N. to force payment upon OUR SOVEREIGN SOIL and NATION in demand for reparations for slavery, it seems me being the younger between Obama and I, I actually am the adult.
